Services

Individual Counseling

During individual counseling sessions, the therapist provides a safe and confidential environment for the client to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, helping them gain insight, develop coping strategies, and work towards personal growth and well-being. This form of therapy is highly personalized, tailored to the unique needs and goals of each individual client.

Couples Counseling

In couples counseling, a trained therapist works with both partners to address communication issues, resolve conflicts, and enhance the overall dynamics of the relationship. It provides a safe and neutral space for couples to explore their concerns, improve their understanding of each other, and develop strategies to strengthen their connection and build a healthier, more satisfying partnership.

Family Counseling

The goal of family counseling is to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and enhance relationships within the family system. It often focuses on identifying and addressing patterns of behavior, dynamics, and interactions that contribute to family issues, aiming to promote healthier functioning and greater understanding among family members. Family counseling can be beneficial for addressing a wide range of concerns, including relationship conflicts, parenting issues, behavioral problems in children, and coping with major life transitions.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a specialized form of psychotherapy primarily used to help individuals who have experienced traumatic events or distressing life experiences. During EMDR sessions, a trained therapist guides the patient through a structured process that includes bilateral stimulation. This process aims to help the person process and reframe traumatic memories, reducing their emotional distress and associated symptoms, such as anxiety and flashbacks. EMDR has been found to be effective in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related conditions.

No Surprises Act – Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
